What to buy quickly to wear in a heatwave

From flora dresses to the hot pink platforms that are eating up our Instagram feed, we’ve scouted these seven summer trends for less.

The hot weather can be a bit of a buzzkill when getting dressed, especially as BC wardrobes tend to be stocked with lots of rain gear and cooler-weather options. (And Lululemon pants. So many Lululemon pants.)

For the upcoming long weekend, why not switch it up a bit? There are loads of trendy, sunny-weather pieces perfect for a heatwave picnic or watching the sunset on the beach.

As with all things fashion, choosing pieces that can be worn over and over is key to not over-indulging in fast fashion deals or ending up with a closet full of nothing to wear.
